Secure to the line with clothespins. Take your clean hands and run them down each side of the sheet, smoothing out the wrinkles, then let it dry. If you are going to put the bed sheet in the dryer, add a sheet of fabric softener and dry it on medium heat. Dry it until it is just dry, no longer.
Hang bed sheets in a single layer. Place the Clothespins Every 12 Inches – this will hold the bed sheets in place and keep them wrinkle free while they dry. On windy days, use more clothespins as required. Remove the Bed Sheets From the Line When They’re Almost Dry – and put them on an ironing board for a quick iron. Use a gentle wash cycle and cool or lukewarm water. Remove the sheets as soon as the cycle is over to reduce wrinkles. Shaking the sheets out before placing them in the dryer can also reduce wrinkles. When possible, dry sheets on an outside clothesline but out of direct sun.
Step 4. Load sheets loosely in the dryer. If you have a large bed with large linens and a medium-sized dryer, you may need to dry the sheets in two loads. Overloading the dryer will cause the sheets to wrinkle.
