I wanna say Homestuck is the first usage of Megalovania, but it's like Toby's magnum opus of music, so it gets repeated around a bit. What I find interesting about the sans battle and the fact that "Song That Might Play When You Fight sans" doesn't play is that some people are theorizing that because you're the big bad boss in that ending, MeGaLoVania is YOUR boss theme, and not sans'.

I made an extra piece of speculation on the same theory: In Undertale's OST there's a track named "The song that might play when you fight Sans". It's pretty fast paced and upbeat, but compared to Megalovania is kinda goofy sounding even for a final boss fight track.
