When I first looked at the dance pattern which looks like a figure-eight, I couldn’t stop thinking about this circle I keep talking about, when I mentioned my 10 steps, and suddenly it just all made sense and I thought the analogy of the “Waggle Dance” was just perfect for representing my 10 top Customer Service steps. Waggle dance is a term used in beekeeping and ethology for a particular figure-eight dance of the honey bee.By performing this dance, successful foragers can share with their hive mates information about the direction and distance to patches of flowers yielding nectar and pollen, to water sources, or to new housing locations. A circle dance means that the flowers are nearby. A waggle dance, in which the bee wags its abdomen, indicates the flowers are far away.
