I'd like to create a drop-down list of options for the user to choose from. The options would be listed in another worksheet, but in the same workbook. I am running Microsoft Excel 2008 for Mac, version 12.2.8. Thanks for your help, and have a super day!
Jan 16, 2012 · In cell A1 of Worksheet 2, I used the Data Validation tool to create a drop-down list which lists all of those construction items from Worksheet 1. That drop-down list has been copied and pasted into cells A2, A3, A4, etc. so that I can input multiple items on the same bid sheet. Furthermore, each list entry should have a link to the corresponding worksheet so that you can easily click on it and will be taken to this worksheet at once. Basically, there are four methods for creating such table of contents: Do it manually, apply a complex formula, use a VBA macro or an Excel add-in.
